How to apply

For Students New to Indiana University

To Apply:

  1. Complete the Application Form
  2. If you have not previously attended a college or university as a degree student, submit official copies of your high school transcript or GED scores.
  3. If you have previously attended college, ask the college(s) or university(ies) you attended to forward official transcripts to the address listed below.
  4. Pay Application Fee* of $55 (International $65). A check or money order made payable to Indiana University can be sent to the address below. *If you have paid the application fee to IU at any time in the past, you will not need to pay the fee a second time.

For Current IUB Students or Students Enrolled at IUB within the last year

To Apply:

  1. Complete the Application Form
  2. If you have attended another university or college since you last attended IU, please send official transcripts to the address listed below.
  3. All students who have had a semester GPA of less than 2.0 will need to provide a written statement explaining what led to your academic difficulties that semester and what you have done since to improve your academics.

Applications are processed year-round. It typically takes 4-6 weeks from the time applications are received for them to be approved. Students should also be aware of financial aid deadlines.
